Well Child Visits are very important at all stages of childhood. Special attention needs to be paid to the rapid physical and mental development and growth of your child, along with careful monitoring and recording in order to improve care and prevent health issues in the future.
At your visits, you can ask questions about any topics related to your child, and receive experienced, knowledgeable advice you can trust. You can ask about general health and care practices, or other topics such as school, family, local resources and groups, etc.
Having trouble thinking of questions in the moment or at a visit? Write down your questions as you think of them, and bring your notes when you visit. There are also great questionnaires to inspire you, which you can fill out and bring to our doctors and nurses at your next appointment. To view them by children’s age and print out, click here.
You are welcome to make an appointment any time your child seems ill or if you have any worries or concerns.
